Colleagues:
Due to the lack of progress in resolving the current pay dispute, Action Short of Strike Action will continue for the month of August 2023. Further updates will be issued detailing escalation plans which include strike action within a 48-hour period over the 21st and 22nd of September 2023.
Further information is included in the attached Unison communique which outlines the current political context and a table clearly showing the difference in pay between England/Wales and Northern Ireland.
We will not be left behind and we must restore Pay Parity without further delay.
