Unison NI Ambulance Branch fully supports the work of the Aggression Prevention & Reduction Group and H&S Committee in their efforts to reduce and prevent assaults against our members.
We are working in partnership with NIAS to develop new and strengthen existing, mechanisms to support our members who have been victims of assault or aggression. It is essential that all acts of aggression against our members are recorded and reported via the DATIX System.
These acts of aggression are not “part of the job” and no staff member should be subject to such conduct in the workplace.
